Foodie Friday~ Chocolate Chip Cookies!

The recipe I tried out this week was an awesome soft cookie recipe from Lauren Smith's blog.
I think the main thing that attracted me to this recipe was that it claimed to taste similar to Millie's Cookies which I absolutely adore and haven't had in ages!
As usual they don't look like the picture provided in the recipe (I'm not an amazing baker that's for sure), but they taste pretty delicious! They're really lovely and soft and taste like the cookies you get from the bakery at the supermarket.
I didn't change much in the recipe, which can be found > here < apart from substituting half the milk chocolate chips for white chocolate ones.
They've even received the seal of approval from hungry family members in my household, in fact I had to guard them carefully as I was afraid they'd disappear and I wouldn't get to steal another one for pudding later.. For me they made 12 good sized cookies though, so it's definitely a recipe for sharing.

If you'd like to make some of these lovely cookies, here's the link to the recipe!
There's also a yummy looking Double Chocolate Chip version, which I'll have to give a try soon :)

Woo hoo, it's Friday!
