Giant Cookies!

I finished a few Cookie Plushies today that I started yesterday. It's a lot nicer to sew during the day when it's light outside, otherwise the lighting in our house is terrible and I really have to strain to see where I'm stitching!
I also made some cute little ones, I have no idea why, I think I just wanted to use up some of the small pieces of fabric that end up everywhere for something. They did give me an idea though, I thought they'd make really cute hand warmers, the ones you put rice in and pop in the microwave for 30 seconds or so. I'll have to see how microwavable safe the fabric is, and if not look for an alternative. My hands are usually freezing for some reason and it would be nice to carry one in my pocket when walking our dog.
My mum and sister also made tasty burgers! I didn't really feel very hungry today so I managed to resist eating chips and instead opted for a few miscellaneous bits of veg (I had already nibbled a bit before I took this photo). I think this counts as my treat for the week and it was uber tasty! I've jogged 5 times this week and I'm feeling great about it, it's nice to have some kind of routine and I can already feel my body getting stronger, my stamina improving.

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend!

  1. The cookies are cute. I like their faces. With the little ones there with the big ones, they look like a little family. Hand warmers sounds like a great idea!
