Handmade Swap, I Got Mail!

Yesterday I was very excited when I saw a packet arrive from the US! I hadn't ordered anything so I knew it must have been for the handmade swap I took part in recently.
My packet was from a lovely lady called Natasha, thank you Natasha!

When I opened the packet I was struck with this image of a very cute kitty, as well as an enlightening quote from Eleanor Roosevelt. It now lives on my wall, making me 'aww' occasionally and reminding me to be strong as well. :) On the back was a nice note from Natasha.
Also inside was a few handmade items wrapped up in this gorgeous hot air balloon tissue paper, isn't it so cute? I love the hessian bow too! I was very careful not to tear the paper, I want to recycle it into something pretty for my room.
In the packet was a pair of earrings, a gorgeous adjustable ring and a comic book style bow. Natasha purchased her handmade items from Katie's shop, aren't they beautiful? The flowers fit right in with the swap theme of Spring too.
I love the bow, it's making me really excited to have long hair again! I'll be able to pin half of my hair back soon and it will be perfect to wear.
Green is one of my favourite colours so I was very happy to receive these green floral pieces. I like that the ring was easily adjustable and it's such a perfect way to celebrate the upcoming warmer weather.

Thank you very much Natasha! I am so happy with everything.
And thank you Katie for organising the swap. :)

Have you ever taken part in a handmade swap?

    1. I've never taken part in a secret santa, but those seem fun too, especially for beauty products. I guess you could get hold of a gem you may not have otherwise thought to try. :)

    1. It was so fun, some people bought handmade things to send too, rather than make them, but I'm sure anything you made would be lovely! Heading over to follow your blog now. :)
