I've been thinking a lot lately about how to produce a more professional outcome of handmade products. I stumbled upon BixbyBasil's store on Etsy which sells these awesome Custom Fabric Labels.
When you purchase the listing you are able to pick a certain amount of letters as well as whichever font you'd like, some label options allow you to print your logo. You are then sent a proof before they are printed to make sure everything is okay.
I thought they'd be a nice touch to put onto the back of my brooches, or sew onto future larger scale projects such as my cloud plushies. I think it would be nice to know my shop name was somewhere on an item I'd made, some sort of branding I guess!
The labels turned out really nicely, I went for the 94 Little Custom Labels which were a great price, they arrived really quickly on an A4 sheet of fabric so I'll need to cut them out myself, but I think it's nice to keep them together until I have to use them so they don't get lost.
I received great customer service from this shop, everything went through smoothly and quickly and I'd highly recommend it! Thanks BixbyBasil!
Having custom labels made for you is very nice, and I think it's a great thing. I'd love to see one of your new labels on one of your pieces!

ReplyDeleteThis is exactly the kind of labels I use for my clothing. Are they iron-on or will you have to sew them on? Don't you love receiving new branding things to stick on everything?
ReplyDeleteSo Glad you like your labels!.. And thanks for the mention :) Have a great year!!
